Private Party Entertainment
Whether it’s a 21st birthday party, a wedding anniversary, a house warming or a bar/bat mitzvah, having a magician is one of the most popular forms of entertainment for a party. I get to go to all sorts of different events at all manner of venues. I’ve performed for a family of four at breakfast and to over a thousand people on stage. No event is too small or too large.
The Cocktail hour
Having a drinks reception and canapés to celebrate a special occasion? This is a great time to have a magician and I will stroll amongst your guests performing close-up magic to groups of two to six people at a time. This is probably my favourite time to perform as it allows people to experience close-up magic just inches from their eyes and allows everyone to get involved.
Close Up table magic
If you’re having a sit down dinner I can go round performing from table to table. It’s a great way to keep guests entertained whilst they wait for their food. It is also a great ice breaker creating a talking point for your guests as they may not know each other. This is one of the most popular options to have a magician.
Depending on how many guests you have, I’ll typically do around a five or so minutes performance for each table. I’ll then go back for round two or three later in the meal.
This part of the wedding will normally last around 90 minutes to two hours, but, it depends on how many guests you’re having, if it’s a three course meal or buffet and how hungry your guests are!
After dinner show
After the meal and speeches are over is also an ideal time for a magician. I have a stand up cabaret show that can be performed to everyone and is a great way to round off the evening. I can involve the special guest in some of the tricks too making them look like the magician! For more information on my stand up act get in touch.
